The IGI numbering, perforating and scoring attachments were invented by William "Bill" Goldsborough in 1979. In 1985 he sold the rights to manufacture and market these products to Tom Overholser of Norfolk, Virginia. Tom formed IGI as a company in 1985 and sold these units to printing companies around the world.

Bill Goldsborough purchased the company in 2008.

Image Graphics Industries is the original and only source for genuine new and used IGI parts and supplies.

We look forward to continuing to service all past customers and anticipate many new customers in the future.

A few good reasons to choose the IGI system...

Performance. The IGI unit produces the best, high-quality, professional print, number, and perforation (or score).

Price. The IGI automatic, high-speed numbering unit costs HALF the price of single-sheet hand-fed units. If you own an AB Dick press, you already own 90% of the IGI system.

The following are a few typical, verbatim responses to the question: How's the unit doing?

  • "Wish I had gotten it 10 years ago".
  • "We'd fight anyone who tried to take it away from us".
  • "Best investment we've ever made".
  • "I've been in this business for twenty-five years and this is the best thing I've seen come along".
  • "Hey, it paid for itself in a week. What more can I say".
  • "You can use as a reference any time. We love it".
